WOW! Wild Over Watercolor Guild of Artists
W O W !. . . a passion for painting in a place of friendship
" . . . the artists from WOW! represent a diversity of viewpoints but share a passion about their paintings, finding purpose in art that is unapologetically beautiful. . . ." -The Oregonian, September 18, 2010 W e l c o m e t o W O W ! |
We are approximately 20 artists from emerging to award winning, some regionally and some nationally recognized for their work. WOW! encourages the development of all its artists on a creative, technical, and career level but we feel like a painting club.
WOW! offers group painting sessions (GPS) online and in person. On any given Friday, you'll find us via Zoom, or at the Tualatin Heritage Center in the City of Tualatin, or in the City of Keizer at the Keizer Arts Center. WOW! offers teaching and learning opportunities and encourages its artists to participate in art shows locally, regionally, and nationally. The group is run by volunteers and directed by a Board of elected officers. This group formerly know as WOMEN OF WATERCOLOR–Guild of Artists changed its name to WILD OVER WATERCOLOR --Guild of Artists in 2016. We are mostly known as "WOW!" The move came as a unanimous decision by the membership of this art group to be more inclusive. Want to know more about WOW?
Check out our website and, if you'd like, be in touch with any of our officers. WOW! Officers

Fun GPSs on Fridays . . .
at the Tualatin Heritage Center and the Keizer Arts Center We are making friends and welcoming new members to WOW at our Friday GPS sessions, both at Tualatin Heritage Center (held on second and fourth Fridays of each month) and at Keizer Art Center (on the third Friday of each month). At THC, in this comfortable and spacious facility, we enjoy painting, learning and sharing with each other, as well as attending demos and participating in workshops.
At the Keiser Art Center the space has been renovated making it larger, comfortable, and brightly lit, as you can see in the pictures below and on our calendar page.
We were also delighted to view the art in the Keiser Art Association gallery next door that is exhibiting some of our members' art. |
