WOW ! at Jergins Park participating in Tualatin's
On May 14th from 1 to 3 at Jurgens Park in Tualatin, WOW! participated in Tualatin's Riverpark CIO Fair. Under a covered picnic area we set up an information table to introduce members of the community to our watercolor group and passed out informational pamphlets and flyers to people. The day turned sunny and warm, and Virginia Green, Terry Schmidt and Karen Berg were there to greet and meet people and answer their questions. A few pieces of WOW! art were displayed, just as eye catchers. Karen Berg painted, sharing and answering questions about painting with watercolors. We will be in a covered picnic area. If you want to come, you would need to bring your own table, chair and materials. It could be fun and would definitely attract attention. The fair was well attend with people interested in our art and what we do in WOW! Some were were interested in visiting our GPSs at the Heritage Center, while several might join WOW! We had a good time reaching out to the people in Tualatin, informing them about our group, and having the opportunity to increase our membership. It was a successful and rewarding event.
